Prototyping is a valuable service because it enables you to assess technical risks, solve product and production issues, and verify quality before costly tooling begins.

At Bayly, we offer a full suite of prototyping and modelling services to ensure your project is delivered efficiently, with minimum risk and at the lowest possible cost.

Possible reasons to consider prototyping are; to build models for promotional events, point of sale exhibitions, concept presentations and testing, and rigid packaging just to name a few.

We offer a range of moulding options including injection moulding, silicone moulding and tooling, urethane moulding and epoxy tooling.  For products that are to be made in a plastic material, low volume production of components or prototypes can be cast in a material that will simulate the mechanical attributes of the proposed product.  We also cast in a range of metals using die casting, sand casting and investment casting.

Our extensive machining and manufacturing technology support includes four axis CNC capability as well as traditional techniques such as fabrication of wood and plastic, machining, pattern making, wood manufacture and metal forming

Scale models of new products or components for clients to evaluate are made using a variety of materials, such as wood, silicone, plastics and foam.  In order to improve efficiency and product quality, Bayly also manufactures jigs and fixtures that can be used as assembly aids with your workforce.
