Chairs for Charity is a Gala Event that brings together prominent Australian artists and designers to create unique chairs that reflect the personalities of well known celebrities.  These one of a kind celebrity autographed chairs were auctioned at the Chairs for Charity Gala Dinner to raise money for charity on the 25th of November 2006.

The Wolverine Chair consists of the following features:

> Large “Triple-blade” backrest - taking it’s styling cues from Wolverine’s menacing claws that protrude from his hands in the heat of battle.

> X logo on the seat derived from the movie’s logo and numerous equipment and scenery design from the movies

> Designed and built using a combination of 3D computer aided design and machining technologies.

> The cushioned seat upholstery is takes its theme from Wolverine’s black leather costume

Bayly wishes to thank Leigh and Ian at Williams Patterns for providing the CNC-machining assistance on the blades and seat-X. Professional 2-pack surface finishing was provided by Aardvark Finishing in Bayswater.

As with the character in the X-Men movies, it may be hazardous to your health to sit on the Wolverine Chair!
